Caelainn Bradley, who writes under the name Rachel Ryan, was born in Dublin in 1991. She studied English at Maynooth University and, after graduating, worked various day jobs while writing in her spare time. 


Her first publication was in Banshee literary journal, and her debut novel was Hidden Lies by Little Brown and was published in the US and Canada by Simon and Schuster in November 2021as The Woman Outside My Door which was selected as a Barnes & Noble Mystery/Thriller Book of the Month pick.


Her second novel Someone you Trust, a gripping, emotional thriller that explores the darkest corners of family and the secrets we hide behind closed doors, was published by Little Brown in July 2023 and in the US and Canada by Simon and Schuster in August 2023.
