Vanessa Ronan is an American novelist, poet, and screenwriter
Born in Houston in 1987, and home-schooled by her literature teacher parents, her debut novel The Last Days Of Summer, a number one bestseller was Shortlisted for the BGE Irish Book Awards 2016 and was Shortlisted for The Shine Awards 2016

Vanessa has lived in Texas, Mexico, New York, Edinburgh, and Dublin, where she currently resides with her Irish husband and four cats. She has her undergraduate degree in dance/choreography from Marymount Manhattan College and a Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh. Vanessa became a number one bestseller with the publication of her first novel, The Last Days Of Summer(Penguin 2016) for which she was also shortlisted for Best Newcomer in The Irish Book Awards.
The book has also been optioned by Venom Films and is being adapted by Vanessa Ronan
