Her debut novel, The Wigmaker, comes out of her long experience studying and directing Shakespeare in museums and heritage venues including HM Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace.

Lara was the first person to produce Shakespeare at HM Tower.  Bringing history to life is her particular passion.  She also facilitates Artists’ Way groups, supporting artists of all kinds using the principles of Julia Cameron.

She’s a keen sailor, based in the heart of historic London on her beloved little boat.
