Emily is an Irish playwright, theatre maker and novelist.
Her novels include:
You and I published with Transworld Publishing 2012. One Chance published with Transworld Publishing 2014. Both novels were published in Ireland, UK and Germany, receiving critical acclaim.
Her theatre work includes:
A Boy called Nedd. Showcased with Druid Theatre Company 2014 as part of the Galway International Arts Festival. It went on to be produced with Theatre Upstairs and Bitter like a Lemon Theatre Company in 2015, directed by Karl Shiels. Shortlisted for The Stewart Parker Trust 2015.
Monster? Produced with Theatre Upstairs and Ryots Productions 2017, directed by Karl Shiels.
Her Fingernails a short play, produced 2017 with Writer’s Avenue London Theatre Company, directed by Sandra Thompson-Quartey.
The Boy with Scar, Immersive play, produced 2018 in Italy with EU Collective Plays. Directed by Riccardo Sinibaldi.

Throughout her career Emily has struggled with dyslexia, but her love of arts and literature has helped her overcome it.
